In 2025, nearly 10,000 runners - along with thousands of spectators - gathered in Bushnell Park for this signature event. We were proud to have 265 employees and their family members participate as part of Team Eversource, with an additional 125 employees registering on race day. 

In partnership with the Hartford Marathon Foundation, we help deliver a race that is both engaging and family-friendly, featuring live music, local food, participant swag and a beer garden, while also prioritizing sustainability.

The Eversource Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon has earned national recognition for its comprehensive waste-reduction efforts across its full weekend lineup, including the marathon, half marathon, Team 26.2 Relay, Charity 5K and FitKids event. 

Since the marathon began in 1994, the event has raised more than $10.1 million to support community and philanthropic initiatives across the region. In 2025 alone, it helped drive awareness and funding for four gold-level charities and twenty-four silver-level charities.
