ConnectedSolutions+ Pilot Program
Businesses in select Massachusetts neighborhoods can earn rewards for adjusting energy use during peak energy events and supporting a reliable electrical grid
About the Pilot
ConnectedSolutions+ is a new active demand response pilot program offering enhanced incentives in select areas that experience higher electric grid constraints or excess solar energy.
Enrolling qualified thermostats, building management systems or batteries in ConnectedSolutions+ enables us to adjust your electricity use during times of peak demand, while rewarding you for your participation.
Our team of demand response experts will work with you to find the right plan for your business and facilities with little or no operational impact.

- The Greater Boston pilot is available to select businesses in Alewife, Dorchester, Mattapan, West Roxbury and town of Milton
- The Southeastern Massachusetts pilot is available to select businesses in Freetown, Lakeville, New Bedford, Dartmouth and Acushnet

Southeastern Massachusetts Pilot
The purpose of this pilot is to integrate an excess of solar-generated energy to the electric grid, called "solar soaking." This program will call on batteries to either charge or discharge during certain hours to take advantage of the surplus of renewable energy.
Daily Battery Curtailment Pilot
- Earn $275 per average kW curtailed during the summer months (June through September). Summer events will require confirmation that your battery will prioritize charging during 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Earn $100 per average kW curtailed during the Spring (April and May) and Fall (October and November)
There will be up to 150 events total per season, and you'll be guaranteed these rates for at least 4 seasons after enrolling. Events can be called from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Incentives are calculated based on average load reduction during discharge events.
